Japanese wooden lacquer Makie Suzuribako is in sets with Suzuri (ink stone) and metal Suiteki (water dropper). This suzuribako is lacquered on the cloth-covered wooden base. The decoration on the lid depicts spider with makie. The edge of the lid is decorated with gold makie on the blackish-brown lacquer belt. Measurements : 8 5/8" (22 cm) by 6 1/4" (15.8 cm) and 3 3/4" (9.4 cm) hight. It is in good condition. http://gotoantiques.com/ |
