| This rare Japanese Kogo (incense case) is in the shape of Pomegranate with dry lacquer "Kanshitsu" tecnique by Shosai Shirai (1901-?). Dry lacquer tecnique used to produce Buddhist images from in the Nara period and Shosai Shirai has done restoration of old Buddha statue. Measurements: 2 1/8" (5.5cm) height, 2 1/8" (5.5cm) wide and 3" (7.5cm) deep. It is in very good condition and comes with original wooden box. | ||||||||||||
