| There is a pair of foxes in this Ema. Ema is a votive plaque to the shrine. Fox is a messenger of Inari. Inari is the Japanese deity of fertility, agriculture, industry and worldly success. The date, Meiji 43 year (1910), is written on the back side. The picture has stains as shown by the photographs, but Ema itself is in good condition. Measurements: 12 3/8" x 15 3/4" (31.5cm x 39.8cm). | ||||||||||
