| Gold, silver and color makie on the Yakigiri, the surace of the Kiri-wood or paulownia-wood is burned with fire. The interior is lacquered with Negoro style, the underlayer of black lacquer showing through the red outerlayer in random. This Suzuribako is in sets with Suzuri (ink stone) and copper Suiteki (water dropper). Mid Showa era (1926-1988). Measurements about : 9 5/8" (24.3cm) by 6 3/8" (16cm) and 1 3/8" (3.5cm) tall.
