Titled "Nagara Harusame" (spring rain in Nagara district) Jalpanese figures and landscape scroll painting is painted with ink and color on silk. Signed artist name "Koseki" and sealed. Nakanishi Koseki (1807-1884), scholar artist, active in Kyoto from late Edo to early Meiji era. Measurements about : 43" x 12" (109cm x 30.5cm), Painted area : 9 7/8" x 8 1/4" (25cm x 21cm). It is in good condition with some minor marks. |
