This is a fantastic ring, featuring a carnelian intaglio of a heron, set in a gorgeous arts and crafts 18k gold mount. The striations of the carnelian work really well with the lines of the bird; the sinuous shoulders look part amphora, part torso! Excellent condition. Ring size 5.
