Mid 19th century table worked hair brooch in the form of a flower with three drops. The hair is work over a hard core in various loops and spirals; the dangles have a European look to them. Reverse is an old c-clasp. Excellent condition. Measures 2 1/2" by 1 1/8".

A wonderful cased Victorian turquoise, half pearl, and 14K gold brooch, circa 1890. The brooch is designed as a belt, with the central buckle set with turquoise and pearls. Measures 1 1/2" long. Excellent condition; the pin is a little bent.

Superb Victorian garnet bangle, set in vermeil, circa 1870. The bracelet is comprised of a single row of luscious garnets, terminating in a seed pearl and garnet flowerette. The clasp has been replaced, partially obscuring the original owner's engraved initials. There are repairs and some wear to a few of the flat prong settings, but all stones are stable...

handsome Victorian swivel fon: one side is bloodstone, and the other is a similar dark hardstone (I haven't yet identified it!). Metal band encasing the fob is marked 9K; the housing is gold filled. Measures 1" by 7/8". Condition is very good.

A lovely pair of Art Nouveau enamel pansy earrings, in low carat gold. The pansies are colored in impressionistic purples, with yellow centers set with a pearl. Condition: very good.

A lovely mid Victorian garnet and 12K gold brooch, an oval with a raised boss, set with seven oval-cut garnets and scroll leaf detail, on a molded mount with garnet highlights (12) and gold bead detail. The reverse features a glazed locket compartment lined with blue fabric. C-clasp and tube hinge. Measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Condition: very good; a few dimples to the "fans" at left and right.

Handpainted portrait miniature on porcelain of a young girl holding a small dog, set in a gilt metal frame. Her dress and hair are typical of the Biedermeier period; she wears a red dress with white collar and a blue shawl, and her hair is styled around her ears. She stands next to an ivy-covered wall and before a background of trees and cloudy sky. Probably German. Measures 1.5 inches by 1.2 inches. Condition: very good.

Wonderful 19th century gilt metal chatelaine on a ring, comprising a gilt metal double fruit knife, ribbon puller in the form of a stork (with a mummy case but no mummy!), a mummy case with a mummy inside, a pencil holder (with pencil), and a scent bottle (no stopper). There's light wear to the gilt on the high points, but it's a charming antique piece -- a mix of Egyptian revival and art nouveau that works! Measures 6 inches at its longest; the scent bottle measures 2 3/8 inches long...
