| American School portrait miniature in watercolor on ivory attributed to William Lewis of Salem, Massachusetts, circa 1833-1836. The portrait depicts a gentleman attired in a white stock and blue coat with brass buttons. Set in a period locket frame with wonderful plaited hair reverse. 2 ¼” by 1 ¾”.
