| Fine antique 2-sided tapestry wool purse. On the front: two lovers, she with a basket, wearing a cap; he with a guitar and red high heeled shoes! On the back: a pastoral scene, with tomb or monument amid flowers in the foreground, and a stream and house in the background. Edged in soft leather piping. Lined in cream silk, with change purse and mirror intact. Fine condition: leather edging is worn; lining is torn inside near clasp; slight soiling inside. 7 7/8” by 5 ¾”. | ||||||||
