| Delightful English portrait miniature in watercolor on ivory of a beautiful young woman, circa 1850. She wears a décolleté white dress with a pink rose at the corsage; her glossy dark hair is smoothly pulled back. Set in a gold engraved frame with braided three-color brown hair reverse. Red leather traveling case lined with worn velvet and silk. Good condition: some dirt under the glass; hair braid is unraveling. Measures 2 ¾” by 2 ¼”. | ||||||||
