This studio pottery vase, produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area. This vase is 5 inches wide and stands 8 inches tall. It is marked S Ballard Vermont 50 and is in excellent condition. A great example of Ballard's skill in glazing.
