| Vintage framed painted Delft tile pastoral scene, signed by the artist. Condition very good, original Arts and Crafts frame. Measures 6.5" x 6.5". On the back it is marked with apothecary-bottle under which the interwoven initials 'JT' for Joost Thooft (the owner of the factory in 1876) and the word Delft. This mark is a guarantee of genuine, entirely hand painted Delftware by Royal Delft. There is also an impressed stamp that reads: "Joost Thooft & Labouchere" with the letters "HT". | ||
