| This magnificent Russian lacquer box, is an oblong, lozenge shape with a lacquered foil butterfly perched on its lid. It measures 3 1/4 " long, while the butterfly itself has a 2 1/4" wingspan. The red pamphlet which accompanies it states that it is a product of the Fedoskino School, and was executed by the artists Kykuishkina, and is hand made of papier-mache.
