| Although there are losses to the lacquer and gilt, and a small chip on the reverse base of the figure, this Chinese 19th Century devotional figure is quite stunning. It measures 6 3/4"high, by 5" wide, by 2" in depth. Manufactured in China, c. 1850, of cast iron, red lacquer and gilt, this is a fine example of this sort of devotional art originally housed in its own small alter. | |||||||
