| This French, signed "Galle" (in the impressionistic twist of the letters), art pottery vase shows the strong Art Nouveau influence of the french school of decoration. There are yellow and Chinese red flowers with black foliage all highlighted in subtle gold and gold washes, all on a deep, dijon ground. The condition of the c. 1900 piece is excellent, with only the expected crazing, but virtually no wear on the inside. It measures 6 1/2" high by 9" in diameter. France, c. 1900 | ||||||||
