Roman Bronze Ceremonial Dagger with Head of Eagle

Roman Bronze Ceremonial Dagger, 1st - 3rd Century CE. Ancient pastiche of iron dagger topped with bronze chariot fitting of an eagle with hook of a duck's head. Iron blade of sword is rusted and pitted but in tact. Eagle hilt in excellent condition. 15 1/2 inches high with custom stand. Ex: Archaeological Center, Old Jaffa Israel.
