Decorative handmade brass and silver box from Damascus to hold Qur'an. This city thought to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Box Circa 1900, 10" x 12" x 8". Also a handmade brass and silver plate with figural motif 11" diameter. Both in excellent condition.
