| This is a stunning example of this scarce English Art Glass. It is shown on page 91 of Cyril Manley's Decorative Victorian Glass. Manley thinks it is either a Thomas Webb product or a Richardson product. Our example is 8 inches high and 8 inches in diameter with a ground and polished pontil. "The casings go as follows: a blue blank is blown; very thin pieces of coloured glass are marvered into it, then cased over with crystal". Condition of this large example is perfect.
