| This well designed early to mid-20th century container is decorated with a pair of Noh Drama masks. They have been deeply carved and then lacquered in layers to create a two-toned effect. The interior is done in black lacquer and the bottom has been woven in a basic twill plaiting--an interesting contrast to the carved texture of the box. It is in excellent condition, except for minor signs of wear on the inside. Dimensions: 6½” x 6” x 3”. | |||||||||
