Ceramic Banko Container Shaped as Clam Shell

This decorative container in the shape of a footed clam shell has been formed out of clay from the Banko kilns. It is very naturalistic in color and design. There is an old repair to a small area on the edge of the bottom shell. It was made in the early 1900’s and has an illegible signature on the bottom. Dimensions: 6” x 5”
