This pair of late 1800’s ranma has been hand painted on paper with a rabbit and wave motif. A long-eared rabbit and wave theme was popular during the Momoyama and Edo periods. They have a silk border and are framed in black lacquer. Good condition. Length: 70” Width: 19 ½” Depth: 1 1/4"
