Artist: ITO SUIKO (1894-1980) Description: A pale blue porcelain vase decorated with translucent geometric patterns. Born in Kyoto, the artist studied under Ito Tozan I and II. He showed at the Teiten and established his own kiln in 1934 (Gojozaka). In 1964 he became a judge for the prestigious Nitten.
