|Description: A very fine quality pair of geese made from cast "hakudo" (a white bronze alloy of copper, nickel and zinc). Their wings, legs and beaks covered in "shibuichi" (an alloy of copper and silver). Well rendered details give these sculptures an appealing liveliness. Signed by the maker: HISATOSHI. Date: Taisho period: 1912-1926. Size: 15" high, 12" wide and 11" high, 12" wide. Excellent condition.|
