|Description: A "keyaki" (zelkova) wood "Jizai" (hook) used to suspend a cooking pot or kettle over an open hearth in a traditional home. It is in the shape of "Daikoku's" (The God of Wealth) hat. A wonderful example of "Mingei" folk art. Date: Edo period: 19th century Size: 15" high, 12" wide. Excellent condition.|
