| Description: A large "Kiri" (paulownia) wood Hibachi (brazier) in a natural, tree-trunk shape. The strongly grained wood has been decorated in raised gold lacquer and inlaid mother of pearl with a design of beans and leaves. Original copper liner. Date: Meiji period: 1868-1912. Dimensions: 9" high x 23" long x 15" deep. Excellent condition. | |||||||
