STYLISH JAPANESE CARVED EBONY WOOD HIBACHI
A pair of Japanese carved 'Hibachi' (braziers or binkake for a tea-kettle) made from solid ebony wood ('kurogaki', black persimmon). Of square form, the frames are carved to resemble bamboo while each side has a pierced motif of pine needles and sprigs of plum blossom in Modernist style. There is also a removeable ebony tray that rests inside the hibachi with three feet to support a metal brazier,incense burner or tea-kettle. Dimensions: 9.25" H x 11.5" W x 11.5" D.
