|Drape your twin beds in gorgeous, creamy French lace! These are exquisite, machine made, ivory colored lace spreads with blossoms and leaves all entwined over different kinds of netting. The skirts are ruffled netting gathered under the scalloped edges of the tops. They were probably made the first half of this century. There is a small tag sewn into one of the spreads which says "made in France". I bought these years ago at the estate sale of a prominent family at their fabulous Diamond Head estate. The tops of the spreads are 8 ft. 4 1/2 inches long (includes a 5 inch lip at the head for tucking over the mattress or maybe over a pillow). They are are 37 inches wide; the skirts 19 inches long. These look brand new! The lace is strong and there are no tears, holes, or weak points at all. There are a few tiny, tiny darkened spots, noticeable only because I was looking carefully with my glasses on! I've had them in my camphor chest for maybe 15 years.|
