| A Fine Full Set/Wood Carved Snapper Cross-Piece for Tea Kettle/ Pot: Japan, 19th century This full set of a large hard wood carved snapper crosspiece and a long iron pole covered in a solid/thick bamboo with an iron hanger and hook is a very rare for tea or cook preparing utensils. This carved snapper crosspiece is a main part of devices for suspension for a kettle or cooking pot over a fire in a Japanese home. It is now worn itself with aged use and the surface has a black wax for conservation itself, the snapper is carved so realistic and good preserved. It is in very fine condition but being some cracks around the fish. Measurements: its total length-205cm long, and a carved wood fish-58.5cm length x 40cm width ***This cross piece can be disassembled and assembled too. | ||
