A Very Rare/Fine Carved/Pigments Painted Wood Carved Tiger: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century A solid wood deep carved a man riding a tiger painted in red, yellow, blue, white and black pigments on the surfaces, a man wearing a traditional hat, black horse tailed “Gat”, and a tiger with a long tail. It’s in very fine condition without any noticeable damages, or missing apart. Measurements; 10” H x 8” L x 3 1/4” W (25.4cm x 20.3cm x 8.3cm) ***Provenance; Collection of Mrs Lea Snyher in New York (wife of Mr Snyder who was an US Embassador to Korea).
