A Korean Finely Inlaid and Molded Celadon Octagonal Bowl-13th C.:
Korea, Koryo period, 13th Century,
It is molded on the interior with a central flower head medallion, each facet on the
exterior inlaid with double flower heads on a leafy stem within a rectangle,
all within lined in borders, bearing spur marks on the base. It is covered overall
with a grayish green celadon glaze.
It is in fine condition without any famages except a firing crack near the foot rim.
Measurements: 5” x 1½ ” h.
