A Very Fine/Rare Korean Punchong Bowl with Characters White Slip Inlaid: 15th C.:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 15th century.
The shallow bowl, set on a raised ring foot, and decorated in inlaid white slip with a
centural two characters inscription, surrounded by a wide band of stylized lappets,
a wide band flower heads design, the exterior decorated en suite, beneath a pale
celadon glaze.
It’s in very fine condition without any cracks or damages but a water stain on the interior and
the exterior. It measures 15.6cm d. x 5cm h.
