A Rare/Fine Korean Inlaid and Open-Work Celadon Pillow-12th C.: Korea, Koryo period, 12th-13th Century, This celadon pillow is a very rare and fine open-work inlaid celadon pillow with 2 sides decorated in inlaid white slip. A central rounded circle containing clouds are within a pair of circular lines, connected with openwork fungus shape and clouds. The other two long sides are both formed with slightly up-curved surface with inlaid triple chrysanthemum floral heads in The row of three within bordered circles inlaid in white slip in the double lines. One side panel was indented in the firing with spur marks, applied overall with a rich and bubble-suffused grey-green celadon glaze. It has an one side openwork tip chipped, otherwise it is in fine condition.
