A Rare Korean Punchong Bottle Incised with Peony Blooms-16th C.: Korea, Joseon period, 15th – 16th century. With long ovoid body balanced on a high foot and with wide flared mouth, the form of pear Punchong stone ware bottle vase incised with a band of large peony blooms incircled by scrolling leaves, below the two circular rings over the white slip brush to the body and incised and covered light celadon glaze over all, roug sands adhered to the foot ring and base. It’s fine condition but a firing crack to the bottom, it meaures 11.25” x 6.25” (f28.5cmx 16cm).
