| An Early Olive Celadon Glazed Bottle Base: Korea, Early Koryo Dynasty, 11th Century This bottle vase has a formed baluster body with a tall neck surmounted by a cupped mouth. As it seen, after it was fired overall with celadon glaze, it appears firing defected celadon glaze over the body, which was became an unexpected beauty. (During in fire it was made by unbalanced temperature in a firing chamber), and also this dark olive green celadon glaze seen in early period of Koryo celadon ceramics. The base is unglazed. It measures 10 ½” and 6”. It is in good condition with no any chips, or repairs. | ||
