| A Pair of Very Fine and Rare Blue and White Cups: Korean Choson dynasty, 18th-early 19th century. This pair of cups were made from an official kiln for the imperial palace use, which is very very rare with a character "Nae". It is almost imposible to fine this type of high quality of a pair for an imperial use with character inscribed. Set on a short ring, and covered evenly overall, in and out of the body, with very fine and clear light blue-tinged white glaze. Each cup is marked with a central medallion containing the character "Nae" in under-glaze blue on the interior well. Each cup has a tiny crack and has been repaired with gold, otherwise it is in fine condition. Measures: 2 1/8" High and 3 1/2" Diameter | ||
