| A Fine Taoist Portrait; Deity of Heaven and Attendants: Korean Choson Dynasty, 19th Century, This is one of the Taoist portraits in Choson dynasty. There are many Taoist portraits, for examples, General Kwan woo(관우), Deity of Heaven, Taoist Guardian, Five Directional Deities (Guardian Warrior), Four General Guardians, King of Hell and etc. This portrait was painted in ink, color (yellow, red, green and blue) and real gold accented at the end of hand held each chair, and painted on silk. It is in very good condition with just minor creases.Measures 28 5/8” x 23 3/4”.(72.5cm x 60.5cm). It is mounted with fabric(silk)on hard wood board(it is removed from the frame and glass).
