A Very Fine Set of 8 Blue and White Ko Imari Cups:

Ref. 295 A Very Fine Set of 8 Blue and White Ko Imari Cups: Japanese, early 19th Century This set of 8 ko-Sometsuke cups is a very rare with a perfect condition. These cups are in painted underglaze blue with a stylized pine tree needle or gingko leaf or maybe not. It is hard to describe what it is (please see photos). These cups are little bigger sizes than normal Ko Imari cups as a Soba Choko cups or Tea cups. Its white glaze is applied over-all body with a warm and soft glazing feeling. It is very fine condition with no any damages. Measures 2 3/4” h. x 3 5/8” d.(7 cm x 9.3 cm).
