| A Fine Hand Drawn Map of Astronomical Chart: Korea, late Choson Dynasty, 19th Century This Astronomical chart is made by hand painted in water color unusually. The most of this type of astronomical maps are prints rather than hand painting.. Besides the diagram of star, a telescopic version of the sun, moon and the five planets are also illustrated. Typically in this map, all stars are name and hand written in ink, and also illustrated distances from the earth. This illustrated astronomical map painted on paper (a traditional strong paper in Choson dynasty. It is in fine condition without any major damages.
