A Fine and Rare set of 8 Japanese Ko Imari Cups: Japan, Meiji Period, This set of 8 imari cups is a very rare with floral mouth rim and fine condition, they were used as tea cups or soup bowls, it is painted in underglaze blue with a stylized scroll design between three curtained design with treasures below over painted floral scroll in gold and brown lacquer accented outlines, also each cup is painted in underglaze blue with a peach and an insect on interior well. It is in very fine condition. It measures 2 3/4” h. x 4 1/4” d. (7cm x 10.5cm).
