| A Bluish-Grey Celadon Melon-Form Ewer and Cover: Korea, Koryo period, 12th Century, The graceful melon-form ewer with looped handle and arched spout has eight lobes rising from a flat foot with a slightly recessed base. It is fitted with a slender and curved spout set opposite the loop handle with a small tap for attachment to the looped stem forming the knob on the lobed cover. It is covered overall in a crackled blue-green celadon glaze. It is in very good condition except its small part of the lid rim repaired, otherwise there is no any chips or repairs. Measures 8” h. x 7” d. | ||
