| A Very Fine and Rare white Slip Inlaid Puchong Stem-cup: Korea, early Choson Period, 15th Century, This stem cup is very rare in Punchong ware decorated with chrysanthemum flower heads on whole body and inlaid with grass pattern encircling the rim. They are usually decorated in white slip with stamped rope-curtain pattern covers its entire body. This deep, circular Punchong stem cup decorated in white slip inlaid with chrysanthemum flower head within a narrow band of arching leaves and parallel lines, also applied with white slip inlaid with a large chrysanthemum floret and leaves on the well, it is covered with clear glossy green celadon glaze overall interior and exterior. Condition: It is in perfect condition without any chips or repairs. It measures 3 1/8” x 3 15/16” (8cm x 10cm) | ||
