| A Very Rare Koryo Celadon Ewer with Incised/Carved Lid: Korea, Koryo Period, 12th Century, This unusual/rare shape of ewer has low mouth with a drop lid, this one has a tall, straight mouth with a cover.(The existing lid is not original match to the ewer). The body of globular form resting on raised circular base and molded with a slightly curved spout and loop handle with attachment ring. The lid (not an original lid with the ewer) is in the shape of an upside-down lotus flower. The lid knob is in the form of a lotus blossom just unfurling from the bud. This ewer has a rich, glossy grayish blue celadon glaze applied over all and 6 spur marks on the foot. It is in very fine condition without any major damages except one tiny lid’s rim and loop chips.
