A Very Old Japanese two Samurai Scroll Painting: Japan, 17th -early 18th Century, a Seal unread, This is a very old painting painted with two Samurais on horses It has a square seal in red on the lower left painting, but unread. It is a hanging scroll with a very nice old silk mountl, painted in ink, color and mineral color on paper. It is in fine condition with minor lightly worn, some colors faded. (It is in normal and minimal damages - generally good shape for the age It measures 110.5cm x 50.5cm painting only, 173cmx 63.5cm whole scroll.
