A Fine Group of 5 Woodblock Prints by Wada Sanzo

A Fine Group of 5 Woodblock Prints by Wada Sanzo (1888-1968) Japan, each print 29.5cm x 23.5cm approximately, 1) Women of Yase 2) Pottery Workshop 3) In a Zen Buddhist Temple 4) Tea Ceremony at Urasenke 5) Ichiriki Java; House of Geisha. Each print bears a quite sized oval shaped red seal "Zo" and title in black on the image, and also publisher's seal on right lower margin. They are in very good condition but two prints with slight foxing on the back. About Artist: Sanzo Wada (1883-1968): Sanzo Wada studied Western style painting at Tokyo School of Fine Arts from which he graduated in 1904. From 1907 to 1914 he studied Western art in Europe. From 1932 on Wada taught at Tokyo School of Fine Arts. His prints are either self-published or by Kyoto Hanga-in.
