| A Rare and Fine Transparent White Porcelain Square Vase: Korea, Choson period, 18th Century, This square white porcelain bottle is one of kind of typical Korean ceramics in Choson dynasty (1392-1910). It is covered overall with clear and glossy blue tinged smooth white glaze with a naïve unglazed foot rim, the tall tapering neck and rising to the square lipped mouth. It is very find condition except hair line cracks on the base and one extended to the lower body. It measures 7 1/8” h. x 4 1/8” x 4 1/8” d. *** A very identical square shaped white porcelain bottle but with painted under glaze blue was sold at Sotheby’s, New York, Korean Works of Art, December 3, 1993, #31 | ||
