| A Very Fine Silver Inlaid Rectangular Box; Korea, Choson dynasty, early 19th Century It is exceptionally well silver inlaid rectangular box with a auspicious character “double happiness” on the top, three floral inlaid medalllion on the exteior walls, with a cover that slides horizontally and a locking mechanism on the handle plate to the front of the box,, it’s set on four yellow brass surporter. Inside painted in bright red pigment for protection from rust. It is in perfect conditon without any defects at all. Measures; 11cm x 7.8cm x 7cm. | ||
