| A Very Fine Two Pair of 2 Panel Screen by Kano Hogai (1828-1888): Japan, 19th Century This artist name; Kano Enshin, Go; Hogai, His specialties; Figures and Landscape. Four Seasons Landscape painted in ink and color on paper the first Spring landscape painting depicted from blooming flowers in deep mountaineous countrysides, the second Summer scene painting depicted from some scholars pleasure boating behind mountain, the third Autumn landscape scene depicted from old scholars visiting a friend in countyside residence, and the last scene of Winter landscape painting depicted from an eldery and a young boy servant coming back from a friend’s house visiting in a lonely mountainous place with blooming plum trees. It is in very fine condition whiout any noticeable damages at all.on the paintings and professionally mounting with a high quality of silk and molded chrysanthemum heads and paulownia flower gold hinges It measures 51” x 23” each panel painting only, and 67 1/2” x 37” each whole panel. | ||
