A Very Rare Punchong Jar with Incised Fish Deco. 15th C.: Korea, Joseon Period, 15th Century. The flattened globular-form jar on raised foot and sloping to a narrow neck with flarded moutn, decorated in brush-applied wihte slip with a finely crackled clear glaze, and incised with a fish decoration on a flattened side, its 1/4th of the body from the bottom unglazed with white slip. It has a mouth repaired professionally, otherwise it’s in very fine condition. It measures 8 1/8” h. x 5 1/2” w. x 6 3/8” w. or 21cm x 14cm x16.2cm
