Purse made of deer skin which has design by smoking with stencil on it. It is called "fusube-gawa". It has beautiful metal work of "Fujin" who is a god of wind and controles it. Fujin and Raijin, who controles thunder, is a popular motif and often seen in many art works and crafts. The most well-known one is "Fujin Raijin-zu Byobu (folding screen)" by Tawaraya Sotatsu. Buddhist hichi-jo kesa, seven-strip Buddhist surplice worn over hoi, clerical garment. It is said seven-strip kesa is for everyday use and ku-jo kesa, nine-strip kesa is for a formal occasion. The dark blue frame cloth is brocade, white part is figured silk satin and brown part is silk damask. It has silk cords, tassels and a ring (probably made of ivory).
