Wooden Shinto statue called shinzo which is a god of Shinto put in a shrine. Shinzo was made between late Heian and Kamakura period (12th to 14th century). It has a "kanmuri" on the head and wearing a "kariginu" which used to be a clothing of a court aristocrat. Some parts are lost and many moth holes which are natural for the shinzo of this age.
