Yu-age which is made of indigo dyed cotton with tsutsuhaki auspicious motif. There was a custom in San-in district when married daughter had a baby, her parents prepared items such as yu-age (towel), ko-oi-obi (baby sling), mutsuki (diaper) and ashi-fuki (foot towel). They are called "mago goshirae". This is a yu-age used when a newborn baby had the first bath. It has red color in the corner dyed with akane (madder) or benibana (safflower) as red color was believed to expel evil...

Miniature Torii, shrine gates made of very thin metal, probably iron. The usage is not clear, but it is said they are votive offerings for a shrine, however name of the shrine or age is unknown. Korean wrapping cloth, chogappo which is made of fragments of choma (ramie) which are from 19th or early 20th century. All hand sewn except that some fragments have original machine stitches. Both wefts and warps are hand-plied. Boro tsutsugaki cloth with hand-drawn 'baku' motif, which is an ancient Chinese imaginary animal and believed to eat nightmare. It was futonji or furoshiki and made into noren (curtain). It is hand-spun cotton dyed with natural indigo. It has many mending patches, holes and some seams are machine sewn. 19th century. 108cm x 112cm
